Uppena starring Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty is gearing up for grand release on 12th February. The romantic entertainer is carrying good buzz among the movie lovers and the expectations are very high. According to the latest report, the movie Uppena has completed the censor formalities and received UA certificate from the CBFC. The run time of Uppena has been locked at 147 minutes, which is decent for a musical love story. The promotional posters and the theatrical trailer of Uppena hints that the movie is a tale of a romantic pair.
The film which is helmed by Buchi babu Sana, has Kollywood star Vijay Sethupathi and he is playing the negative role as Rayanam in this movie Uppena. Vijay Sethupathi’ presence in this romantic saga is said to be one of the major highlights. The movie is bankrolled by Naveen Yerenini and Y. Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers and it has the music by Devi Sri Prasad whereas Shamdat is handling the cinematography.
Though Vaishnav Tej appeared in small roles in few Telugu movies earlier, Uppena is his first movie as a hero. Krithi Shetty has now gained so much following even before Uppena hit the screens.
