Today on the eve of Sri Ram Navami, the makers of upcoming romantic film Uppena released a news poster that features the lead actors- Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty. . Vaishnav Tej is the younger brother of Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej and the nephew of Khaidi No 150 star Chiranjeevi. Coming on the new poster, Vaishnav Tej is seen raising his collar while riding the bike. Krithi Shetty is seen covering her face with a stole.
Uppena, the romantic love story, was initially scheduled to hit the theaters on 2nd April but the makers postponed the release of Vaishnav Tej starrer owing to coronavirus outbreak. Although, there is no any update, regarding the release date of Uppena but the makers are promoting the movie aggressively. Yesterday, the makers also released a poster that features Vijay Sethupathi, who is playing the villain in this film.
Uppena is helmed by Buchi Babu Sana and jointly bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. Vaishnav Tej starrer Uppena marks directorial debut for Buchi Babu Sana. The makers have already released couple of the songs which are composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
According to the latest buzz, Uppena girl Krithi Shetty has signed her next Telugu film 18 Pages, in which she will share the screen space with Nikhil Siddharth.
