Thala Ajith and Telugu hero Kartikeya are coming together with an upcoming action drama Valimai. Ajith is playing the lead role whereas RX 100 fame actor Kartikeya is playing a villain. Today the producer Boney Kapoor on Wednesday gave exciting news to the fans of Thala Ajith who had been waiting for the update on Valimai.
Boney Kapoor confirmed that his latest film Valimai starring Ajith in the lead role will be released in the theaters on the occasion of Pongal next year.
On the otherside Vijay starrer Beast is also slated to hit the theaters on the occasion of Sankranthi. In this manner, both the movies Valimai and Beast will compete at the box office.The last time when their movies collided at the theaters was about 7 years ago. Both Vijay starrer Jilla and Ajith starrer Veeram were released in theatres during the Pongal 2014 and were declared hits at the box office. Now once again Ajith and Vijay’ film are to going to fight.
A cop thriller drama Valimai which is a big budget drama is directed by Theeran: Adhigaram Ondru fame Vinoth. It has Yami Gautam, Ileana D’Cruz, and Huma Qureshi in the female lead roles. It has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
