Varun Tej and Manushi Chhillar are gearing up for the release of their much awaited project Operation Valentine. Recently during an interview Varun Tej talks about his upcoming film Operation Valentine. Ghani star said, “My market declined at the time but I would never back down from making content based films. I voluntarily asked the producer of Antariksham to pay only half of my remuneration and invest the remaining into the movie. In the worst scenario, I am ready to do a content based movie even without taking remuneration.”
About the film Varun Tej said, “When I heard the script of Operation Valentine, I knew what happened in the year 2019 but my information was limited. I was really intrigued about what goes on behind scenes of Balakot airstrike. I was surprised that so much goes on behind the scenes and I felt it was important to show the people risks and dangers associated with an airstrike. It is not something that is planned & executed overnight. We also wanted to show great sacrifices that our soldiers and defense have done and continue to do.”
He added, “Everything started on 14th February, 2019 with the Pulwama Attack that killed our soldiers. That day is Valentine’s Day which was supposed to be celebrated with joy but turned out to be a black day.
