Icon star Allu Arjun seems to have found himself in soup once again as TSRTC officials have taken offence to a recent ad his did. His recent TVC for a bike taxi aggregator has landed him in trouble. The ad film showcases Stylish Star Allu Arjun as a chef in a small time hotel who tells a person to not take an RTC bus and instead book the bike taxi for the faster and safer ride. Promoting a bike service, Bunny was seen extolling the virtues of booking a bike ride rather than going by a stuffed public bus in the ad. Now, Telangana State Road Transport Corporation- TSRTC officials have released a statement that reveals that legal notices will be sent to Pushpa star Allu Arjun and the bike service provider for tarnishing their image.
IPS officer VC Sajjanar, who is MD of the TSRTC, said that the ad “demeans” the state RTC and that it will not be tolerated.
In the ad, Allu Arjun tells a customer that travelling by a crowded public transport bus would mince a commuter who is like a regular dosa into the masala dosa, and suggested that using Rapido is more convenient. In this ad Allu Arjun pointed to an AP bus on the Veeravasaram route, a village in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. The ad film has now irked TSRTC MD VC Sajjanar.
Now TSRTC has issued notices to Telugu actor Allu Arjun and the bike taxi aggregator in this regard.
