It is known that the young and happening actor Vijay Deverakonda will be seen next in filmmaker Gowtam Tinnanuri’ upcoming Telugu drama. Vijay was last seen in sport based drama Liger, his first pan-Indian film in which he shared the screen space with Ananya Panday under the direction of Puri Jagannadh. VD12 is the first project Vijay has announced since Liger’s box office failure. Now according to the latest report, Vijay Deverakonda starrer VD 12 has been launched today morning with formal pooja ceremony. The pic of Vijay from Pooja ceremony is going viral on the social media. Sreeleela will be seen sharing the screen space with Vijay in VD12.
In the month of Janaury 2023, the makers of VD12 released a poster where Vijay Deverakonda posed as a cop and said his ‘heart skipped a few beats’ when he heard the script and came to know about the team of his next film, which is being directed by the National Award-winning filmmaker.
Vijay Deverakonda debuted in 2011 with Ravi Babu’s romantic comedy Nuvvila, and gained recognition for the supporting role in Yevade Subramanyam which was released in 2015. He also played the lead role in the 2016 romantic comedy Pelli Choopulu and gained recognition for movies such as Geetha Govindam, Arjun Reddy, Mahanati, Taxiwaala and Dear Comrade. He owns King of the Hill Entertainment, a film production company, which bankrolled its first film Meeku Mathrame Cheptha in 2019.
