Venkatesh Daggubati and Akkineni Naga Chaitanya are working together for an upcoming romantic and comedy entertainer drama Venky Mama, which is being directed by KS Ravindra alias Bobby, who is strong in the entertainment genre. Venkatesh was last seen in Anil Ravipudi’s directorial venture F2 Fun and Frustration and grabbed several eyeballs with his comic act. The sources say that the senior actor will continue his comic streak with Venky Mama that also stars his nephew, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, the makers of Venky Mama are planning to release the film next month to mark Venkatesh Daggubati’s birthday that falls on 13th December.
Though the entire shoot of Venky Mama starring Venkatesh Daggubati and Akkineni Naga Chaitanya has been wrapped up to date, the makers did not make any official announcement regarding its release date but the sources say the makers are planning to release the movie on the occasion of Venkatesh’ birthday.
The film also has Raashi Khanna, Payal Rajput in the female lead roles. In the month of August, on the occasion of KS Ravindra’s birthday, the pre-teaser of Venky Mama was shared on the web. In the clip, Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya twin in kurtas as they walk in style together. On the occasion of Dussehra, the makers also shared the first glimpse of Venky Mama, which created a lot of buzz among the movie lovers.
Venky Mama is produced by D Suresh Babu under Suresh Productions banner along with People Media Factory and it has the music is by S Thaman whereas the cinematography is by Prasad Murella. Before this multi starrer Venky Mama, Venkatesh did a cameo role in Naga Chaitanya’s film Premam but this is the first time that they are doing a full-length role together in a film.
