Venkatesh Daggubati starrer Vasantham which released on 11th July 2003, has completed 17 years by today. His another movie Drushyam which released on 11th July 2014 has also completed 6 years by today. Both the movies Vasantham and Drushyam were superhit at the box office.
Vasantham managed to earn Rs 16.50cr share worldwide at that time and emerged a Super Hit. It was the second highest earner for Venky Mama star Venkatesh at the time of release behind Nuvvu Naaku Nachav which minted Rs 18 cr share.
Drushyam the remakes of Drishyam, was a slow starter at the box-office but the movie did very good business in the long run. Venkatesh starrer collected a share of Rs 1.9 cr share on its opening day worldwide and closed its run with a share of Rs 20 cr share and emerged a Super Hit.
