Venkatesh Daggubati has recently wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming Telugu action and revenge drama Narappa, which is a remake of Tamil blockbuster movie Asuran in which Dhanush played the lead role. Narappa is helmed by Srikanth Addala, which also has Priyamani and she is playing Venkatesh’ wife in this film.
He is also working for Drushyam 2, which is also a remake of Malayalam drama Drishyam 2 in which Mohanalal played the lead role. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, once again Venkatesh is planning to act in a Telugu drama which is remake of Malayalam blockbuster Driving License. Venkatesh in talks for the third remake in quick succession.
The sources say that Venky Mama fame Venkatesh is in talks for a Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster Driving License, which is a satirical drama based on class disparity in modern day society. The movie had Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj in the lead role and it was a big hit in Kerala. Currently the discussion regarding Driving License remake is on and if everything goes accordingly, very soon the official announcement regarding the remake will be made.
It is also being heard that the makers are planning to bring Varun Tej on the board to play the another lead role.
