Ayushmann Khurrana starrer ‘Article 15’ received rave reviews from all quarters, on its opening. The film that is centred around caste discrimination in society, in which Ayushmann played the role of a cop for the first time on the big screen. The movie is directed by Anubhav Sinha and produced by Zee Studios and it was released in 2019. For the past few months, news regarding the Telugu remake of Bollywood hit, Article 15, has been circulating in the media. It was heard that senior producer Suresh Babu is keen on producing the film Article 15 in Telugu, with his brother Venkatesh Daggubati in the lead role. However, there is no official announcement regarding Venkatesh’ Article 15 remake. Now it is being heard that talented actor Adivi Sesh is under consideration for the lead role in Article 15’ Telugu remake.
Article 15 is all about a police investigation that commences after three teenage girls go missing from a small village. Meanwhile Adivi Sesh is currently working on upcoming film Major, a biopic on 26/11 hero Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, which is being bankrolled by Mahesh Babu.
Meanwhile Venkatesh is working for upcoming action entertainer Naarappa, which is a remake of Tamil film Asuran.
