Prabhu Ganesan, known professionally as Prabhu, is a popular actor, businessman and film producer who predominantly works in Tamil cinema. Prabhu is the son of veteran actor Sivaji Ganesan and he is popularly known as Ilaya Thilagam. The veteran actor Prabhu experienced severe stomach pain and he was rushed to Medway Hospital in Chennai for treatment. According to the sources, after undergoing medical scans, the doctors found that Prabhu had kidney stones that were causing his discomfort.
The doctor used urethroscopy laser surgery to remove the stones from the kidney. Following a few routine tests, he will be released in a day or two. Fans wished the actor Prabhu a speedy recovery on social media.
According to the latest bulletin issued by the hospital, the actor Prabhu is recovering after undergoing laser surgery at a private hospital in Kodambakkam.
Medway Hospitals in a media statement, said that the actor Prabhu was brought to the hospital due to the problems in his kidney. They found stones in his kidney and they were removed through ureteroscopy surgery with laser treatment. Prabhu is completely in good health. After a few regular check-ups, he will be sent home in 1 or 2 days.
Prabhu is one of the most in-demand actors in the South Indian film Industry. He is currently seen in playing the supporting roles in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada films.
