Ranbir Kapoor is essaying the role of Khalnayak star Sanjay Dutt and the upcoming biopic will trace the journey of Sanjay Dutt from his youth to the present.
The latest poster, shared by Rajkumar Hiraani, shows Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal chilling in a nightclub. Donning the classic leather and fur jackets, Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal seem to be channelling their inner retro in this new look. Vicky Kaushal also shared the poster on his official Twitter account and captioned it, “Super excited to be playing the role of #Sanju’s best friend. Friendships like these are hard to find. Sanju is being produced by Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films in association with Fox Star Studios.
Recently during the media interaction, Vicky Kaushal said, “I have grown up watching Sanjay Dutt’s movies. But due to biopic Sanju, I came to know Sanjay Dutt as a human being for the first time. To look at him as a human being, not star.” The trailer of Sanju will be out on 30th May and the movie is slated to hit theatres on 29th June 2018.
