After tying the knot newly married couple Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara were spotted walking hand-in-hand in the restricted area of the temple premises. While Vignesh was walking barefoot, his wife Nayanthara was spotted walking with slippers and posing for pictures on Mada Street surrounding the holy shrine., that created lot of buzz. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy fame actress wore sandals on the streets in the presence of Srivari, which hurt public sentiments. No permission is given even to shoot the films on Mada Street. But, the couple posed for pics there.
Nayanthara landed in controversy after she was seen wearing footwear on the premises of the temple. Reacting to the issue, her husband Vignesh Shivan issued a statement and tendered apologies. Vignesh Shiavn said, “My wife Nayanthara has a lot of devotion toward Lord Venkateswara Swamy and we tried hard to get married in Tirumala. We visited five times Tirumala in the last 30 days.” The film maker added that in a hurry to take a photograph they didn’t realise that they had footwear on and said that they tendered apologies for the incident.
It was also heard that TTD board is planning to lodge a police complaint against Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan for not following the rules in the restricted area of the temple premises.
