Vijay Antony‘s daughter Meera hanged herself at her house in DDK Road, Alwar Pettah, Chennai. Reports say that she who went to sleep in his father’s bedroom as usual yesterday committed suicide by hanging himself at 3 o’clock in the morning.
The family saw this in the morning and Meera was taken to a private hospital after being found hanging at her Chennai residence. The doctors, who examined her, declared her dead. According to reports, she was under pressure and was getting treatment for the same.
After this, the police reached the spot and are investigating. Initial reports suggest that she was under stress. Meera was 16 years old and studying at a popular school in Chennai. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the girl was battling depression.
Vijay Antony’s daughter’s body is kept at Kaveri Hospital. Vijay Antony’s family, friends and the celebrities are visiting to see her. The daughter’s body will be handed over to Vijay Antony after the autopsy.
Vijay Antony, who had previously given an interview to a YouTube channel about suicidal thoughts, said, “I have heard that many people have suicidal thoughts. For a lot of people it comes down to money issues. Similarly, it happens when someone trusts others and is deceived.
Vijay Antony is married to Fathima Vijay Antony, who also takes care of their own production house. They are parents to two daughters, Meera and Lara.
