When the makers of Parasuram Petla’ magnum opus Family Star starring the young sensation of Tollywood Vijay Deverakonda and Sita Ramam fame Mrunal Thakur released the film’s glimpse a month ago, it was all anyone could talk about. Vijay Deverakonda’s dialogue, “Iron e vanchaala eenti? (Should I bend an iron?)” became famous among his fans and movie lovers, with his monologue lauded for challenging toxic masculinity. Fans were excited to see the film in the cinema halls.
The sources close to the makers revealed that the upcoming film Family Star is a typical family drama with emotional moments. Recently Mrunal Thakur interacted with the media and leaked the highlights of Family Star as she revealed that Family Star is filled with hilarious comedy in both halves.
Mrunal Thakur also revealed that the comedy scenes featuring her and Vijay Deverakonda are going to be one of the highlights of Family Star.
The movie is bankrolled by Dil Raju and is all set for a release on 5th April 2024.
Parasuram and Vijay Deverakonda’s lives changed post the release of the romantic drama Geetha Govindam in 2018. The director scored a hit after the movies like Solo and Sarocharu. He even went on to make a film with Mahesh Babu, titled Sarkaru Vaari Paata.
