The young and happening actor Vijay Deverakonda and Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna starrer romantic and action drama Dear Comrade, helmed by Bharat Kamma, was released last year. On its opening day, the movie received mixed response by the movie lovers and the critics and finally turned out a commercially flop at the box office.

Even though Bharat Kamma’ directorial venture had managed to earn some critical acclaim for the lead actors’ performances but the critics had given it a thumbs down. Recently Vijay Deverakonda attended an interview with the film critics Baradwaj Rangan and Anupama Chopra and opened up about the failure of Dear Comrade.

Geetha Govindam star Vijay Deverakonda opened up about how Dear Comrade’s failure had affected. World Famous lover actor said that there was a whole propaganda, where one can pay money to get a film written off and can get people to antagonize it on social media.  The film industry and  the politics that surround a film, affected him.

On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda is currently sharing the screen space with B-town girl Ananya Pandey in an upcoming film Fighter, which is being helmed by Puri Jagannadh of ismart Shankar fame. It’s Hindi version will be presented by Karan Johar.
