Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey created sensation when their movie Arjun Reddy was released in Telugu states.  Vijay Deverakonda is still struggling to get offers from Bollywood but Shalini Pandey has grabbed a Big Budget movie. According to the latest update, Shalini Pandey  has been roped in Yash Raj Films’ upcoming production Jayeshbhai Jordaar in which she will be seen sharing the screen space with  top star Ranveer Singh.

Shalini Pandey  played Preethi in Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Deverakonda, is going to make her debut in Bollywood with Ranveer Singh starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar .

The production house has confirmed the same by sharing a post on Twitter.

Ranveer Singh and Shalini Pandey starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar  will be helmed by debutant writer-director Divyang Thakkar, Jayeshbhai Jordaar is all about the story of women empowerment.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar will be produced by Maneesh Sharma. He spoke about casting Shalini Pandey in this film, he said, “Our script and the vision of the film Jayeshbhai Jordaar  demanded a fresh face. Shalini Pandey’ audition was so spontaneous and nuanced that we knew immediately that she was the right person for this upcoming film. We have real confidence in backing her talent. Shalini Pandey is really going to catch your attention in Jayeshbhai Jordaar.”

 Shalini Pandey and Vijay Deverakonda starrer Arjun Reddy was blockbuster at the box office and  it also triggered a debate in the country for portraying its misogynist lead character in glorifying light. The Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy – Kabir Singh, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani also attained huge success.

 Talking about his character, Ranveer Singh said, “ He believes in equal rights between men and women in the society that is deeply rooted in patriarchal ideals, practices and doctrines.”

 On the other side, Shalini Pandey is also busy in her upcoming Telugu movie Iddari Lokam Okate.
