Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer Liger is gearing up for the grand release on 25th August. The boxing legend Mike Tyson is making his Bollywood debut with Liger which is helmed by Puri Jagannadh.
The professional boxer Mike Tyson, who hogged worldwide headlines when he became the youngest ever heavyweight champion in boxing history in 1986 at the age of 20, is widely considered one of the greatest heavyweight fighters of all time. Recently during the media interaction, Arjun Reddy fame star revealed about the moment he realized how his audience really wants him to do an action film. Vijay Deverakonda shared that he had once walked into a screening of his Telugu film, Dear Comrade in a burqa and saw how audiences would react just before scenes of confrontation.
Geetha Govindam fame star added that he always wanted to do action . He added, “ Sometimes what I do is I wear a burqa and I go into theatres to sit among the audience to watch. If you see a burqa-clad tall person, it could be me. So I went to watch Dear Comrade like that.”
Liger also has Vishu Reddy, Ali, Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Makarand Despande and Getup Srinu in the important roles.
