Malayalam actress Parvathy Thiruvothu’ comments on Vijay Deverakonda starrer Arjun Reddy has become the hot topic of discussion in the film circle. Parvathy Thiruvothu is winning the hearts of netizens for slamming ‘Arjun Reddy’ in front of Vijay Deverakonda. The young actor Vijay Deverakonda said on Wednesday during a session at the International Film Festival of India, “I am very irritated right now. I can’t keep it in and I want to take it out. If I will keep it in, it will become a tumor inside me.”

Geetha Govindam actor Vijay Deverakonda said, “I am very understanding normally but the people have no idea of what they are saying on the internet these days. I didn’t mind the question. I love Parvathy Thiruvothu. I admire her work. What irritates me is social media. People go nuts. I dislike that people are celebrating at my cost. That’s my issue. I don’t care what you think of the movie, misogyny or the interview.”

We have already reported that Parvathy Thiruvothu slammed the young and talented actor Vijay Deverakonda starrer Arjun Reddy and Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh for glorifying misogyny and toxic masculinity. Parvathy also outlined why Joker was different from the two films. The Malayalam actress said that in Joker, Joaquin Phoenix murdered the people but nowhere in the film did she feel like applauding him or follow his path.

Parvathy Thiruvothu’ remarks on Arjun Reddy was met with a lot of applause on Twitter.

Both the movies Kabir Singh and Arjun Reddy were massive hits. Kabir Singh earned over Rs 300 crore at the box office in India, but Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial venture was widely slammed for showing its misogynist and toxic protagonist in a glamorous light. The Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy, Adithya Varma starring Dhruv Vikram, was released on 21st November, this year.
