Veteran actress and politician Vijayashanti is making her comeback in the acting field after a long gap of 13 years with an upcoming romantic and comedy entertainer Sarileru Neekevvaru in which Maharshi fame Mahesh Babu is playing the lead role. Currently, the movie Sarileru Neekevvaru is progressing at a brisk pace in the direction of Anil Ravipudi of F2 Fun and Frustration fame. Recently the makers of Sarileru Neekevvaru announced that they are coming up with Diwali treat. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Vijayashanti’ First look from Sarileru Neekevvaru will be unveiled on the eve of Diwali.

It will be very interesting to see how Anil Ravipudi has showcased Vijayashanti in this film Sarileru Neekevvaru starring Mahesh Babu. In order to complete this film by next month, the entire cast and crew are working very hard. Till yesterday the action scenes of the movie were shot in 7 acres set in Annapurna Studios. One of the action scenes involved Rs 2 Cr set, it is said to Prakash Raj’s house in the movie. The shoot of the action sequence of Sarileru Neekevvaru has been wrapped. Vijayashanti is re-entering into the movies with this upcoming film Sarileru Neekevvaru. It is heard that she is essaying the role of a professor. Bandla Ganesh is playing a crucial role.

Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna is playing the love interest of Mahesh Babu, who is essaying Major Ajay Krishna.

The movie Sarileru Neekevvaru is bankrolled by Anil Sunkara and Dil Raju along with Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainment whereas it has the music by Devi Sri Prasad. The film is slated to hit the theaters on the occasion of Sankranthi 2020.

Vijayshanti was last seen in the movie Naayudamma, which was released in 2006. She was a former Member of Parliament, who was elected from the Medak constituency.
