King Nagarjuan hosted controversial reality show had its grand finale on Sunday as a host of celebrities showed up. The finale episode was attended by RRR film maker SS Rajamouli, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Nani, Naga Chaitanya, Shriya Saran and Ayan Mukerji, among others.
The fifth season contestants were Lahari, Nataraj, Hamida, Swetaa Varma, Sarayu, Anee, Ravi, Umadevi, Priya, Lobo, Vishwa, Jaswanth, Priyanka Singh, Kajal, Sunny, playback singer Sreerama Chandra, Siri Hanmanth, Shanmukh Jaswanth, and Maanas. They stayed at Bigg Boss house at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. On Sunday night, VJ Sunny beat Shanmukh to emerge as the winner of Bigg Boss 5 Telugu. VJ Sunny lifted the trophy of Bigg Boss 5 Telugu winner and Rs 50 Lakhs in a glittering grand finale that aired on Sunday.
The 5th season of the reality show which aired for over four months, started with19 contestants. Five contestants – Shanmukh, Siri, Maanas, Sunny, and Sreerama Chandra stood as the finalists. And VJ emerged as winer. Shanmukh was the runner-up whereas the playback singer Sreerama Chandra stood at the third position.
Before the grand finale, Bigg Boss 5 Telugu welcomed actors Ram Charan, Akhil Akkineni, Pooja Hegde, Vijay Deverakonda and Shriya Saran as special guests.
