The former Miss World Manushi Chhillar is set to debut in Tollywood. It is known that Mega Prince Varun Tej will be seen next in a movie, which is tentatively titled VT 13. Now this yet to be titled film has made the headlines again. Directed by debutant Shakti Pratap Singh, in this film Varun Tej will be seen as an IAF pilot. Today morning the makers of VT13 took to social media and officially announced that Miss Universe 2017 Manushi Chhillar will play the female lead in this film of Varun Tej. The makers have released a video glimpse to make the official announcement regarding the inclusion of Manushi Chhillar in Varun Tej starrer VT13.
The sources say that the film’s director Shakti Pratap Singh Hada believed that her fame would enhance her appeal in the role. Since VT13 is being made as a Telugu-Hindi bilingual, the makers felt casting Manushi would also appeal to the audiences up north. She made her filmy debut in Akshay Kumar starrer Samrat Prithviraj. Manushi Chhillar’ role has been kept under wraps.
Billed to be a patriotic and edge-of-the-seat thriller, the bilingual Telugu-Hindi movie goes on floors today. VT 13 is being bankrolled by Sony Pictures International and Renaissance Pictures.
