Fans who did not watch Waltair Veerayya in the theater can enjoy it at home. Waltair Veerayya which released on January 13 as a Sankranthi gift, has turned out a successful venture at the box office. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Shruti Haasan played the female lead whereas versatile actor Prakash Raj, Bobby Simha, Rajendra Prasad and Vennela Kishore played the supporting roles.
Two Telugu movies along with Tamil dubbed movies were released in two theaters during Sankranti. Waltair Veerayya took the lead with an overall collection of around Rs 250 crores. The movie earned 2.5 million dollars in overseas as well and created new records in overseas collections.
On the work front, Chiranjeevi is currently working for Bholaa Shankar which has Tamannah Bhatia in the female lead role whereas Ravi Teja has wrapped up the shoot of Ravanasura.
