Sulthan is an upcoming action film, written and directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, and produced by S R Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures. Karthi and Rashmika Mandanna and playing the lead roles in this actioner Sulthan. The movie marks the debut of Rashmika Mandanna in Tamil film Industry. Now according to the latest update, Warangal Srinu bagged the theatrical distribution rights of Karthi and Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Sulthan’. Warangal Srinu will release the film Sulthan in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states.
Sulthan’ trailer was released on 1st February and it received a huge positive response by the movie lovers and Karthi’ fans. The makers of the film had also released the first single titled Jai Sulthan which received a tremendously positive response.
Meanwhile, Karthi will be seen playing the crucial role in Mani Ratnam’ film Ponniyin Selvan, which is based on a Tamil novel of the same name by Kalki Krishnamurthy.
Few portions of Karthi for this film Ponniyin Selvan were shot before the lockdown was imposed. On the other hand, Rashmika Mandanna is making her debut in Hindi film Industry with the film Mission Majnu and in Tollywood, she is working with Stylish Star Allu Arjun in action drama Pushpa, which is helmed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
