Teja is a cinematographer turned director, known for his works in  Tollywood and Bollywood. He ventured into direction with hits such as Chitram, Nuvvu Nenu, Jayam and Nijam, Nuvvu Nenu. After delivering several flop movies, once again  Teja came in limelight after delivering Nene Raju Nene Mantri in which Rana Daggubati and Kajal Aggarwal played the lead roles but his previous offering Sita ended up commercially flop at the box office. Now Teja is planning to make his strong comeback. He has a couple of exciting projects in the works. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Teja has collaborated with Tollywood macho star Gopichand for an upcoming film, which will go on the floor next year. Now, the latest update is that Teja is currently penning a watertight script for Gopichand.

 The sources say that Teja is determined to bounce back to form and also give a hit to Oxygen actor Gopichand.  In the past, Gopichand and Teja have worked together for an action drama Nijam, which was produced under the banner of Chitram Movies banner.  Apart from Gopichand, Teja’s directorial venture also had Mahesh Babu, Rakshita, and Raasi in the lead roles. Now once again Gopichand has decided to collaborate with his Nijam director.

 On the other hand, Gopichand too has delivered a series of flop movies and he too is looking to score a solid hit. The upcoming film of this combo will have its formal launch very soon.

 On the other side, Teja has also decided to make a movie on the abrogation of Article 370. The story of Article 370, will be all about an unusual friendship between an aged Kashmiri Pandit and a young Muslim intellectual. If everything will go per plan, Amitabh Bachchan will essay the role of Kashmiri Pandit whereas Rajkumar Rao will play Muslim guy in Teja’ film.
