In order to further strengthen the privacy of WhatsApp users, recently WhatsApp has introduced a feature to hide the IP address during calls. Privacy Checkup on WhatsApp: How to use it?
There are four privacy settings in WhatsApp privacy check up. They are
Choose who can contact you: Who can contact you on WhatsApp through this setting? Who can make audio and video calls? You can judge for yourself. This will prevent unnecessary calls. You can also control who can add you to the group.
Control your personal info: You can select who can see your online status, personal details, activity, profile picture, status, last scene, read receipt in WhatsApp through this option.
Add more privacy to your chats: WhatsApp already has end-to-end encryption facility. However, you can provide more privacy and security to your chats with message timer, end to end and encrypted backups.
