According to the latest report, Whistle has completed the censor formalities and received U/A certificate from the regional censor board and is ready for a grand release tomorrow. The movie Whistle has locked a run-time of 179 minutes. The film Whistle, which is directed by Atlee, is releasing in a solid 700 screens in just the two 9states alone which is huge for a star like Vijay in Telugu.
Whistle is the dubbed Telugu version of Tamil movie Bigil, which is a sport based action film written and directed by Atlee and bankrolled by Kalpathi S Aghoram under the banner AGS Entertainment. Lady Superstar Nayantara in playing the female lead in this film and it has the music by double Oscar award winner AR Rahman. Mahesh S Koneru is bringing the film Whistle to Telugu.
According to the latest update, on Tuesday, the Madras High Court allowed a Tamil film script writer to file a fresh suit before an appropriate court over plagiarism charges against actor Vijay and Nayantara starrer Bigil, which is releasing tomorrow.
