Recently during the media interaction, Samantha Akkineni opened up about not taking up projects in Bollywood and the actress also revealed that she was ‘scared’ to do so. It is known news that Samantha Akkineni is all set to wow the audience by turning into a suicide bomber with the upcoming web drama The Family Man 2 which also has Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani. In The Family man 2, Samantha Akkineni will be seen throwing a challenge to officer Manoj Bajpayee with her deadly plans. She enters the country with the aim to attack popular places with the bombs and kill thousands of people.
During the interview, when Samantha was asked why it took her so long to sign a movie in Bollywood, to which she replied, “Because maybe I am scared? The talent here is amazing. I am scared”.
The web drama The Family Man 2 also has Sharib Hashmi, Shahab Ali, Vedant Sinha, Seema Biswas, Darshan Kumar, Sharad Kelkar, Sunny Hinduja, Shreya Dhanwantary, Mahek Thakur, Mime Gopi, Ravindra Vijay, Devadarshini Chetan, Anandsami and N. Alagamperumal in the crucial roles.
On the work front, Samantha will be seen playing the female lead in Vignesh Shivan’ Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal alongside Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. She is also working for a mythological drama film, Shaakuntalam, which is helmed by Gunasekhar.
