If ongoing buzz in media and film Industry is to be believed, recently Puri Jagannadh travelled to Kakinada to narrate a story to Vijay Deverakonda, who was busy shooting for his upcoming film Dear Comrade. It is not yet known, whether Vijay Deverakonda expressed his desire to team up with the director or not.

 Puri Jagannadh has earlier worked with Vijay Deverakonda’s father in a few Doordarshan programmmes. Currently the director is busy in the pre production work of his next upcoming film in which Ram Pothineni will play the lead role.

 Puri Jagannadh is one of the talented film maker of South Indian Film Industry, but his previous offering have turned out commercially flop at the box office and now days no any top actor is ready to  collaborate with Puri. Let’s wait and watch whether Arjun Reddy star will give his green signal to Puri or not.

 Puri Jagannadh is a three-time Nandi Award recipient. In 2006 he directed Pokiri, premiered at the 7th IIFA Film Festival held in Dubai. The film was later remade into several Indian Languages, and catapulted Puri to national recognition.He made his Bollywood debut in 2004, with the film Shart: The Challenge. His movie ‘Temper’ with Young Tiger Jr NTR was one of the biggest hit of Telugu Film Industry, which is being remade in Bollywood. This year Puri Jagannadh delivered Mehbooba in which his son Aakash Puri played the lead role. On its opening day the movie received negative response by the movie lovers and critics everywhere.

 On the otherside, Vijay Deverakonda is currently enjoying the success of his recent offering Taxiwaala, which has turned out decent hit. Recently it was heard that Vijay Deverakonda has signed a bilingual drama, but the production house Dream Warrior has refuted the rumour.
