Woman murders husband with lover in Hyderabad Film NagarBanjara Hills Police arrested a woman and her alleged lover for killing her husband on 7th August  in Film Nagar area. According to the latest report, accused Banoth Devika, 30 years, was allegedly into a relationship with one person named  Totha Benarjee, 31, who works as a housekeeping supervisor in a private company. She allegedly killed her husband with the help of lover at their residence in Hyderabad. This incident took place in Film Nagar under Banjara Hills Police Station limits. The deceased was identified as Jagan Naik alias Jaggu, who worked in a private sector.

DCP (West) A.R. Srinivas said, “The duo Banoth Devika and Totha Benarjee were into relationship and they wanted to get married as soon as possible and they were living together. So they decided to kill Jagan Naik, husband of Banoth Devika.”

The police further said, “Banoth Devika and Totha Benarjee thought that after killing Jagan Naik, they could live happily, so they murdered Jagan Naik.” Both Banoth Devika  and Totha Benarjee murdered Jagan Naik after spraying mosquito spray and sprinkling chili powder on his face.

 After hearing the loud noise, when the house owner knocked the door of Jagan Naik, Banoth Devika said to house owner that her husband came to home in an intoxicated condition and picked up an argument with her. He also beat her. In order to save herself, she kicked him on his genitals and later throttled his neck resulting in his death.”

The body of Jagan Naik has been sent to the Osmania General Hospital Morgue for autopsy and the woman Banoth Devika has been taken into custody. A case of murder has been registered against the lady and the police are investigating further. The arrested persons were produced before the court for judicial remand.

The couple Banoth Devika and Jagan Naik had two children. Since the mother would not be able to take care of them anymore, the police handed the Children over to their family members on Thursday.
