Number of celebrities of the Indian film Industry are active on social media sites. Generally the top celebs used social media sites- Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, for sharing updates about their upcoming movies. Now according to the latest update, Bollywood actress Yami Gautam, who is busy with the promotional activities of her upcoming film Dasvi co starring Abhishek Bachchan, revealed on Sunday evening that her Instagram account has been hacked.
The Instagram account of Yami Gautam has been taken over by hackers. Her profile details and display picture of account have been modified by the hackers. The actress revealed that she has been locked out of her Instagram handle since Saturday.
She wrote on Twitter, “Hi, This is to inform you all that I’ve been unable to access my Instagram account since yesterday, it’s probably hacked. We’re trying to recover it as soon as possible. Meanwhile, if there is any unusual activity through my account, please be aware of it. Thank you!
This is not the first time an actress has been a victim of cyber-crime. I and 2.0 fame Amy Jackson, Megah Akash, Akshara Haasan and Hansika Motwani have also been hacked in the past. In the month of February this year, actress Nora Fatehi had issued a statement that revealed that there was an attempted hack on her profile.
