Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer science fiction action thriller, based on a few real-life incidents, Yashoda, was released worldwide on November 11 in multiple languages and received the positive response by the movie lovers on its opening day. The movie is written and directed by Hari and Harish, Ambuli, and Orr Eravuu director duo, who made their debut in Telugu film Industry with this pan-India film. It is now official that the digital streaming rights of Samantha starrer Yashoda are with the popular OTT platform Amazon Prime Video.
Apart from Samantha, the film also has Murali Sharma, Kalpika, Rao Ramesh, Sampath, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Divya Sripada and others in the important roles, which is produced by Sridevi Movies.
The trailer of Samantha starrer Yashoda was unveiled on October 27. It featured Sam as a surrogate mother. The action-thriller started with the life of surrogate mothers kept at a centre. However, appearances can be deceptive. Samantha later sensed something wrong about the surrogate mother and the trailer ended with Samantha performing high-octane action sequences. Finally the movie hit the theaters yesterday.
Samantha starrer Yashoda’ cinematography is handled by M Sukumar. Mani Sharma scored the background score and music for this science fiction movie, which was edited by Marthand K Venkatesh.
