While Bollywood has broken this taboo in the year 1933 with Himanshu Rai and Devika Rani indulging in an on screen lip lock in the movie Karma.
Tollywood was uncomfortable with the brazen display of affection for a long time. But now there are a number of actors in the Telugu film Industry who are locking lips on the screen. It is being heard that a h*ttie from a neighboring state who has scored a blockbuster in Tollywood with her first film itself, has refused to lock the lips with an actor in her upcoming film.
The sources say that the director of her upcoming film asked her to do a lip kissing scene with the actor for their movie but she said no to them. The sources say that as she has also locked her lips in her previous movie but as she doesn’t want to get tagged as kissing star of Tollywood, she refused to do so this time.
Few are also saying that as she is getting less remuneration for this film, she does not want to do the kissing scene.
