Rahul Ravindran who got introduced as hero with the movie Andaala Rakshasi has managed to be part of few hits. After that he has played a small role in Super Star Mahesh Babu‘s Srimanthudu. Then this young hero left acting and took up direction. His debut film Chi La Sow is a decent hit but highlight of this project is that it has won national award. Rahul Ravindran won this award for best screenplay. It is indeed a huge honor for Rahul Ravindran.
With Chi La Sow turning out to be decent hit, King Nagarjuna called Rahul and offered him a movie chance. Rahul Ravindran took inspiration from a Hollywood movie and made Manmadhudu 2. However fate turned upside down and Manmadhudu 2 turned out to be a disaster. More than the film’s result the criticism film and director received is what made it disastrous.
Rahul Ravindran has accepted the film’s result and said that something is wrong with Manmadhudu 2 at the script stage. However this young film maker is confident of making a strong comeback. In one of his recent interviews, Rahul spoke that he will bounce back strong. Currently he has couple of interesting scripts which he needs to zero in on and work it full time.
