YSRCP New Bill: Checkmate to “corruption”

After receiving the huge applause and accolades with the first-ever Bill that reserves 75% of jobs for local people, YSRCP has made another sensation and hit the headlines once again. Jagan’s YSR Congress Party has proposed a new Bill which will be a big checkmate to the corruption. Yes, YSRCP believes that the Bill will bring transparency and it will put an end to the corruption.

Minister for Industries and Commerce Mekapati Gowtham Reddy has initiated this Bill which reads any infrastructure project that values at Rs 100 Crore or more has to be revised or previewed by the High Court Judge. From the preview, Judge would place tender to seek public opinion on it which happens in 15 days. Then based on the tender paper(feedback), Judge will submit suggestions to the government on the project.

On speaking to the new Bill, Jagan said, “Like never before to check corruption and promote transparency in the bidding process of infrastructure projects, a first step has been taken today.”

He added saying, “The Bill will help get rid of the dubious distinction of AP being number one in corruption in the country and set an example for other States to replicate it.”

The said Bill covers the 25 sectors inclusive of the Public and private sectors partnerships (PPPs) which could be considered for the judicial preview. On to this Finance Minister Bugganna Rajendranath expressed his views saying, such bill is really necessary as the previous government had polluted all the departments and projects with corruption mainly in the capital region.
