Akshay Kumar has started the promotional activities of her upcoming much awaited big budget drama 2.0, which is directed by Shankar. Today he took to his twitter to share a new poster of 2.0 and captioned it, “2.0 is an effort unlimited of more than 3,000 technicians around the world. #2Point0Teaser in 3 days! @2Point0movie @LycaProductions #2Point0.” We have already reported that the teaser of 2.0 will be unveiled on 13th September. According to the makers, 75 million dollars has been spent on the VFX of this Sci-fi drama 2.0, which is also printed on the poster, shared by Akshay Kumar. If we convert the dollars into Indian rupees, it comes to Rs 544 Cr. It means, the makers have spent huge amount Rs 544 only for the VFX of 2.0.
Director Shankar also shared the same poster and captioned it, “#2point0 is an effort unlimited of more than 3,000 technicians around the world. Teaser in 3 days!” Lyca Production house has already confirmed that the teaser will be out in 3D and 2D both. They tweeted, “#2Point0TEASER releases in #3D And #2D @shankarshanmugh @rajinikanth @akshaykumar @arrahman @resulp.” Superstar Rajinikanth and British bombshell Amy Jackson are playing the lead roles.
In the month of July, the makers has announced that the long delayed film 2.0 with Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in the lead will hit the screens on 29th November this year.
Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is playing the villain in this sci-fi thriller. Being the sequel to the 2010 hit film, Enthiran, 2.0 will have Rajinikanth in dual roles, Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti – the Robot. Apart from them, 2.0 has other stars like Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain and Kalabhavan Shajohn in supporting roles. 2.0 also marks Akshay Kumar’s first multi-lingual project. Baahubali presenter Karan Johar is going to present it’s Hindi version.
