There is no end of former BRS government over controversies . The pillars of Medigadda barrage collapsed at the time of assembly elections. There was some damage to the barrage as well. When the matter came to light, the opposition leveled accusations against the government. KTR, Harish Rao and others said that the construction company L&T will bear the damage. The general manager of the company also announced the same.
However, after the election and formation of the Congress government, a letter was received from L&T to the Project Superintending Engineer (SE). The agency said that they were not involved in the damage to the pillars and barrage. In its letter, the organization also said that the government should bear Rs 500 crores. This is where BRS got into trouble.
In fact, KTR and Harish Rao had repeatedly said that when the pillars collapsed and the barrage was damaged, it was under the management of the organization. Therefore, the cost of repairs has nothing to do with the government.
At that time, the Congress claimed that KTR and Harish Rao had given false statements to L&T regarding expenses and repairs. The ministers are protesting why the organization which said that they would do the repairs themselves has turned around now. Let’s see what happens.
