Dumpa Chenchireddy, the husband of a YCP ZPTC member, committed violence against Santanutalapadu Tehsildar Lakshminarayana Reddy of Prakasam district. YCP mandal president and local ZPTC member’s husband Dumpa Chenchireddy assaulted Santanutalapadu tehsildar Lakshminarayana Reddy of Prakasam district on Tuesday.
Lakshminarayana Reddy was working as a superintendent in Kandukur sub collector’s office and was promoted as tehsildar. Ever since he joined the duties, he has been dealing strictly with the affairs in the office. A month ago YCP leader Chenchireddy committed violence against him and he went on leave for two weeks.
The tehsildar went on leave on August 18 due to personal reasons due to mounting pressure for various works. He returned to duty on September 11. At that time there was a dispute between the two. In this background, Chenchireddy came to the revenue office on Tuesday afternoon and got into an argument with the tehsildar asking why he was not doing his work. When the tehsildar said that they were following the rules, Chenchireddy was furious. The tehsildar grabbed his throat and hit him on the cheek. He was deeply offended by this.
