Former Supreme Court Judge Justice S Abdul Nazeer, r, who pronounced Ayodhya verdict, has been appointed as new governor of Andhra Pradesh- AP. Today on Sunday President Draupadi Murmu approved the recommendations of the Centre on the transfers and appointments of the new governors. The incumbent governor of Andhra Pradesh, Biswa Bhushan Harichandan, has been shifted to Chhattisgarh Raj Bhavan.

 Anusuiya Uikye, Governor of Chhattisgarh appointed as the  Governor of Manipur.

La. Ganesan, Governor of Manipur appointed as the Governor of Nagaland.

 Phagu Chauhan, Governor of Bihar appointed as the Governor of Meghalaya.

 Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Governor of Himachal Pradesh appointed as the Governor of Bihar.

Ramesh Bais, Governor of Jharkhand appointed as the Governor of Maharashtra.

Brig (Dr) BD. Mishra (Retd), the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh appointed as Lt. Governor of Ladakh.

Biswa Bhushan Harichandan has completed three and half years term in Andhra Pradesh Raj Bhavan. He  assumed charge as governor of Andhra Pradesh in July, 2019, after YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took the reins of AP as chief minister in  the month of May, 2019.

Draupadi Murmu accepted  the resignations of Bhagat Singh Koshyari as Governor of Maharashtra and of Radha Krishnan Mathur as Lt. Governor of Ladakh.
