Actress Gautami Tadimalla resigned from Tamil Nadu BJP Monday, she alleged that the party leaders were helping a man who had duped her.
Gautami’s decision has become a hot topic in Tamil Nadu politics. She said that Senior members of the party are giving full support to Alagappan.
She said that Alagappan met her 20 years ago and trusted him and entrusted him with the management of her properties. She said that she entrusted him with the responsibility of selling her lands and recently found out that he had cheated her in this process.
She alleged that he did not get any help from the party while fighting a legal battle for a long time and the seniors of Paipechu party were helping Alagappan. Alagappan was absconding for the last 40 days after the FIR was registered. She said that she was shocked to know that the senior members of BJP were helping him to escape. Gautami said that she is hopeful that justice will be done to her by Chief Minister Stalin, the police and the judiciary.
Gautami Tadimalla said that she is resigning from BJP with a heavy heart. She added that as a single parent and a single woman, she will continue to fight for her and her daughter’s future.
