Adilabad BJP MP Soyam Bapurao has issued a stern warning to those who convert. He warned that bullets would be fired if the adivasis were converted. Speaking at the tribal cultural conservation meeting held under the auspices of Janajati Suraksha Manch in Adilabad, he said that the tribal girls are being converted by Muslims and Christians with false words. He urged the Adivasi girls not to fall prey to false promises and not to be cheated
He added that the girls belongs to Scheduled Tribal communities were being forced to convert their religion. He said that the perpetuators would be shot if they did not mend their ways. He regretted that Adivasi women were marrying followers of Islamic and Christian religions.
The adivasis who had fever were given paracetamol tablets and drank water called divine water. He was angry that they were trying to convert their religion with false words. Adivasi girls who have got jobs are being targeted and religious conversions are taking place.
MP Soyam Bapurao added that he would demand for deletion of those who convert their religions from the list of STs.
Last month there was a campaign on social media against Soyam Bapurao that he would change the party.
