Adipurush movie box office collections: Rebel star Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer big budget film Adipurush, helmed by Om Raut of Tanhaji fame, which was released on 16th June, worldwide in a very grand manner, received the mixed response on its release day. From critics to reviewers, many voiced misgivings over certain lines in Adipurush. Among the lines over which the makers have drawn flak are,’Bua ka bagicha hai kya’ , ‘Marega bete’ and ‘Jalegi tere baap ki’. Some problematic lines have now been modified in Prabhas starrer.
Now according to the latest report, Adipurush has crossed $3 Million marks in USA. An industry tracker confirmed the same by sharing a post on Twitter: Adipurush crosses $3 Million in the USA (including all languages). Prabhas is the only hero from South India to have 4 films with $3MHowever, this movie is costliest film made in India. $3M (Rs 25 cr) is a small number for a massive market like USA.
Prabhas and Om Raut’ film Adipurush is a mythological tale based on Valmiki’s Ramayana. The film presents Prabhas in the role of Raghav, Saif Ali Khan as lankesh and Kriti Sanon in the role of Janaki. Om Raut’ magnum opus also stars Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage as Lakshman and Hanuman, respectively.
