Adipurush movie box office collections: Amid controversies, Rebel star Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer big budget film Adipurush, helmed by Om Raut of Tanhaji fame, which was released few days ago, worldwide in a very grand manner, has stayed firm at the ticket windows on the first weekend as it earned more than Rs 65 crore nett in India and Rs 340 crore worldwide. The makers of Adipurush confirmed the same by sharing a new poster on Twitter.
The Industry tracker, Ramesh Bala tweeted: #Adipurush goes from strength to strength holding its ground and takes the total collection to a phenomenal 340 cr in 3 day at the Global Box Office.
Day 1 – Rs 140 CR.
Day 2 – Rs 100 CR
Day 3 – Rs 100 CR
Total – Rs 340 CR.
Written and helmed by Om Raut of Tanha Ji fame, Adipurush is a mythological tale based on Valmiki’s Ramayana. The film features Rebel star Prabhas in the role of Raghav, Saif Ali Khan as lankesh and Kriti Sanon in the role of Janaki. The movie also stars Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage as Lakshman and Hanuman, respectively.. The film is said to be on a massive budget of Rs 500 crore.
