Puri Jagannadh who is known for helming Pokiri, iSmart Shankar and Temper, is currently working with the young and happening actor Vijay Deverakonda for an upcoming film Liger which has Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey in the female lead. Now according to the latest buzz, after wrapping up the shoot of Liger, Puri Jagannadh will collaborate with none other than KGF fame Yash for a political thriller drama, which will be released in multiple languages.
Reports also suggest Puri Jagannadh and Yash’ film will go on floors after Puri wraps up the shooting of Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey starrer Liger. Meanwhile, the makers have almost shot the major part of the film Liger and they are looking forward to resume once things are back to normal.
The shoot of Liger is halted due to the coronavirus. In Liger, Vijay Deverakonda is playing the role of a boxer, and it is scheduled for theatrical release on 9th September 2021.
On the otherside, Yash is waiting for the grand release of Prashanth Neel directorial venture KGF: Chapter 2. The action drama which has Srinidhi Shetty in the female lead role, is currently in the post-production stage. It also has Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, Mohra girl Raveena Tandon and Prakash Raj.
