In Jharkhand, a youth has been registered for raising pro-Pakistan slogans during an election campaign rally attended by MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi. A by-election will be held on September 5 for the seat left vacant by the death of MLA Jagarnath Mahato (JMM) from Dumari constituency. Abdul Mobin Rizvi is participating in this election on behalf of MIM. Majlis party leaders held a rally in support of Mobin on Thursday. Party leader Asaduddin Owaisi also participated in this rally. 

However, during Owaisi’s speech, a youth who attended the rally shouted pro-Pakistan slogans. The video related to this has gone viral on social media. With this, the police registered a case against the youth along with Majlis candidate MD Abdul Mobin Rizvi, rally organizer Muzaffar Hasan Noorani and others. A case was filed for violation of election code of conduct. However, Jharkhand MIM president MD said that the viral video is fake and has been tampered with. Shakir said.

Giridih Deputy Commissioner Naman Priyesh Lakra revealed that the FIR was lodged at Dumri police station against  the AIMIM candidate Abdul Mobin Rizvi. The action came after a video went viral on social media, where it was heard that someone from the audience raised ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogan during the speech of Asaduddin Owaisi.
