Akhanda Box office Collections: Akhanda starring Nanadamuri Balakrishna and Pragya Jasiwal, has already successfully completed 50 days of its theatrical run. The action drama, directed by Boyapati Srinu was released on 2nd December last year. On its release in theaters, the movie received a positive response from the audience. Though it had stiff competition from Malayalam actor Mohanlal’s Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham, one of south’s biggest releases, Akhanda was seen overshadowing the period drama and finally it has turned out a blockbuster at the box office. Now according to the latest report, Akhanda has earned Rs 1 Cr gross at RTCX roads.
The theatrical rights of Akhnada were sold for Rs 51 Cr in Telugu states. The movie did an impressive pre-release business in Nizam and Ceeded where its theatrical rights were sold for Rs 11 and Rs 12 Cr respectively.
The action drama in which Balakrishna is playing the dual role, is bankrolled by Miryala Ravinder Reddy under the banner of Dwaraka Creations whereas it has the music by S Thaman. The movie also has Poorna, Jagapathi Babu, Subbaraju, Srikanth, Avinash, P Sai Kumar, Sravan and Prabhakar in the crucial roles.
Currently Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’ Akhanda is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
