We have already reported that Mahesh Babu and Rashmika Mandanna starrer action and comedy-drama Sarileru Neekevvaru crossed the 1 Million mark on Saturday with premieres and first-day advance bookings at the USA box office. Finally, Sarileru Neekevvaru, directed by Anil Ravipudi, has become Mahesh’s 10th consecutive 1 Million film overseas. Now according to the latest update, Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which has hit the theaters today, has taken a good start that the box office. According to the trader’s report, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, directed by Trivikram Srinivas, registered $656,204 from premiers in the USA by 8:00 PM PST. This is Allu Arjun’s biggest ever premiere show number in the USA.
On the other side, both Sarileru Neekevvaru and Rajinikanth starrer Darbar has crossed $1.2 Million at the USA box office.
Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is directed by Trivikram Srinivas and is produced by Allu Aravind and S Radha Krishna under their banners Geetha Arts and Haarika & Hassine Creations. The actor-director duo has worked for Julayi and S/O Sathyamurthy. Apart from Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde, the family drama Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo also has Nivetha Pethuraj, Jayaram and Tabu in lead roles with Sunil, Nassar, Rajendra Prasad, Sushanth, Navdeep, Murali Sharma, Sathyaraj, Vennela Kishore, and Rahul Ramakrishna in supporting roles. Trivikram Srinivas’ brand name and Thaman’s music have played a major role in luring the Telugu audiences in the USA market.
