Telangana Liberation Day was organized at the Parade Ground in Secunderabad under the auspices of the Central Government. Union Minister Amit Shah participated in the celebrations. Speaking on this occasion, he commented that today is the day Hyderabad got liberation. He congratulated the people of Telangana on this occasion. Nizam’s rule ended because of Patel and Munshi. He claimed that the history of Telangana was distorted for 75 years. He said that he corrected that mistake only after Modi became the Prime Minister.

“Salute to the warriors who participated in the liberation struggle. Telangana liberation would not have been possible without Patel. Salute to Telangana armed fighters. The tireless fight against the Nizam is a proof of unwavering patriotism.” On this occasion, Amit Shah mentioned the names of the fighters who participated in the Telangana armed struggle.
