South cinema director Rishabh Shetty‘s film ‘Kantara’ created a lot of buzz at the box office. Now the country’s Home Minister Amit Shah also watched Kantara and showered the praises on film and Rishab Shetty. This film Kantara got a lot of love from the people. Amit Shah praised the culture of Dakshin Kannada during his Karnataka visit, as he said he has watched the popular film Kantara. The minister said the film helped him a lot to learn about the state’s culture.
Amit Shah addressed farmers of Dakshin Kannada and Kerala during the speech at CAMPCO’s Golden Jubilee celebrations. Addressing the gathering Mr Amit Shah said, “I just watched Kantara and I got to know about the rich culture of Dakshina Kannada which is famously known as Parshuram’s Srishti.”
Kantara was a blockbuster at the box office and it emerged as a massive commercial success in 2022 and established actor Rishab Shetty as a pan-India star. Karnataka’s culture is on display in this movie which received fantastic response by the movie lovers. Recently Rishab Shetty also announced Kantara 2.
Kantara revolves around Bhootha Kola, a traditional dance for deity. The film’s cast includes Sapthami Gowda, Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, and Pramod Shetty in pivotal role.
