A TDP councilor hit himself with a shoe during the general meeting of Anakapalli district Narsipatnam municipal council. After winning as a public representative, he said that he wanted to die because he was unable to do anything for the people and slapped him on the cheeks in the full house.
Fed up with the behavior of the municipal officials, a TDP councilor hit himself with a shoe, creating an uproar in the council. Councilor Ramaraj was angry that even after 30 months since he was elected as a member of the ward, he could not do any work like drainage, power, sanitation, roads and other problems in my ward.
He lamented that not even a small work has been done in Lingapuram, a tribal house under the 20th ward, there are no taps, street lights, there are no people to remove silt from the drains, there is no garbage removal, and the councilors of the ruling party are obstructing every work. Expressing his helplessness, Councilor Mulaparli Ramaraj slapped him. This incident led to an argument between TDP and YCP members.
A general meeting of the council was held under the chairmanship of Bodapati Subbalakshmi, Municipal Chairperson of Anakapalli District, Narsipatam. After the meeting started, Ramaraju said that he was not able to do even small work in his ward and he was not able to show his face to the people.
